The annual Gold Pack Awards evening was held on 30 October 2019 in Johannesburg. The Gold Pack Awards is the showcase for the South African packaging industry and from its inception in 1973 it has grown into an event of considerable importance and prestige. The competition for medals is fierce, however the awards event is a celebration for everyone involved or interested in packaging.
Shave & Gibson was fortunate enough to be the recipient of a number of these awards, which is recognition for our uncompromising quality and service delivery. Our innovative handbag-shaped “Bag-in-Box” design for Fairview Estate’s 3L wine box, was awarded the premier 2019 IPSA Gold Pack Trophy for best overall packaging design in all substrates.
